Day 1 — Aug 2 Total Solar Eclipse and Guided Tour of Tangier

Your eclipse experience begins early in the morning with collection from your accommodation in Tangier. We will travel to the selected observation location before the first partial phase begins, allowing enough time to settle in, receive the eclipse safety briefing, and prepare for this unique astronomical event.

Tangier is located within the path of totality, where the Moon will completely cover the Sun for approximately four minutes and 51 seconds. After witnessing the total solar eclipse, we return to Tangier before beginning a guided city tour with a local guide.

Day 2 — Aug 3 Tangier to Chefchaouen

After breakfast at your hotel, we leave Tangier and travel southeast through the landscapes of northern Morocco. As the road enters the Rif Mountains, the scenery changes with green valleys, olive groves, farming communities, and traditional villages built along the hillsides.

We continue towards Chefchaouen, Morocco’s famous blue city. After arrival and check-in at your riad, you will have time to explore the charming old Medina independently.

Walk through the blue-painted streets, discover local weaving and leather shops, relax at Plaza Uta El Hammam, and explore the Kasbah area. Near sunset, you may walk to the Spanish Mosque viewpoint for panoramic views over Chefchaouen and the surrounding Rif Mountains.

Day 3 — Aug 4 Chefchaouen, Volubilis, and Fes

Upon arrival, your driver will take you as close as possible to your accommodation, as many areas inside the old Medina are accessible only on foot. The evening is free to relax or enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner.
