10-Day Morocco Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech

Welcome to Marrakech. Meet your driver and transfer to your riad or hotel. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy some free time exploring Marrakech Medina and Jemaa el-Fna.

Overnight: Marrakech

Day 2: Explore Marrakech

Discover Marrakech with a local guide. Visit Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, Koutoubia Mosque and the traditional souks. Spend time exploring the Medina and experiencing the lively atmosphere of Jemaa el-Fna.

Overnight: Marrakech

Day 3: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

Leave Marrakech and cross the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Continue to the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah and explore its historic streets and traditional architecture.

Continue through Ouarzazate and the Valley of Roses before reaching the Dades Valley.

Overnight: Dades Valley

Day 4: Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Merzouga

Travel through the dramatic landscapes of southeastern Morocco and visit Todra Gorge, surrounded by impressive limestone cliffs.

Continue to Merzouga and begin your camel ride into the Sahara Desert in the afternoon. Watch the sunset over the dunes before arriving at your desert camp.

Enjoy dinner and an evening under the stars.

Overnight: Sahara Desert Camp, Merzouga

Day 5: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Middle Atlas – Fes

Wake early to watch the sunrise over the Sahara dunes. After breakfast, leave Merzouga and travel through the Ziz Valley and Middle Atlas Mountains.

Continue toward Fes and arrive in the historic city in the evening.

Day 6: Explore Fes

Spend a full day discovering Fes with a local guide. Explore the ancient Medina, traditional souks, artisan workshops, historic madrasas and famous tanneries.

Experience the architecture, craftsmanship and local culture of one of Morocco’s most historic cities.

Day 7: Fes – Chefchaouen

Leave Fes and travel north toward Chefchaouen, the famous Blue City.

Explore the blue-painted streets of the Medina, visit the main square and enjoy free time to discover the town’s shops, cafés and mountain scenery.

Day 8: Chefchaouen – Rabat – Casablanca

After breakfast, continue toward Rabat, Morocco’s capital.

Visit the Kasbah of the Udayas, Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V before continuing to Casablanca.

Overnight: Casablanca

Day 9: Casablanca – Marrakech

Explore Casablanca and visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque from the outside and surrounding area.

Afterward, continue to Marrakech. Enjoy your final evening in the Red City with free time to explore the Medina or relax at your accommodation.

Day 10: Marrakech Departure

Enjoy your final morning in Marrakech. Depending on your flight time, you may have free time for breakfast, shopping or a final walk through the Medina.
